The Chirikayen mountain is at 1650m above sea level and is easy to climb in three days. You will cross savannah, rainforests and see small gold or diamond mines. Feel the magical world of flat-top mountains and enjoy the fantastic views from the top. This is a great trip for beginners to get the feel for trekking!
Day 1:
We travel by 4 x 4 transportation to the typical Indian village of Chirikayen. Here we begin our mountain biking and ride to the lagoon at the foot of the Table Mountain.
We rest and camp here for the night.
Day 2:
Today, we start walking after breakfast and ascend the Table Mountain which is approximately 1650m returning down to our camp late afternoon.
Day 3:
We leave our camp after breakfast and have an enjoyable days riding through the Gran Sabana. We stay overnight in Balbina with an indigenous family.
Day 4:
Today, we continue riding through the Gran Sabana with a rest for lunch on the way until we reach Santa Elena de Uairen.
2 Days Chirikayen
Day 1:
From Santa Elena begin our mountain biking and ride to the lagoon at the foot of the Table Mountain.
We rest and camp here for the night. overnight in hamac.
Day 2:
Today, we start riding after breakfast and ascend the Table Mountain
which is approximately 1650m returning through the Gran Sabana with a rest for lunch on the way until we reach Santa Elena de Uairen.
